Simple Graphics Card Question. Please help.Follow

#1 Dec 01 2004 at 5:20 PM Rating: Decent
Ive been asking this question in a couple of threads but no body seems to give me a straight answer. All they do is say "heres a list of 10 pick one." Please try to understand that isnt good enough. Can someone please please PLEASE give me the exact name of a graphicscard that is $50-70 dollars and that can run the game smoothly with minimal slowdown. I beg of you!

Edit: Let me just say that im horrible with computers so i cant pick one for my life...

1. Edit: Was looking through BestBuy.com and came up with this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1077627694525&skuId=6365391&type=product

Will that run the game?

2. Also look at this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=86246&CatId=880

How about that? Please refer to the different cards as #1 or #2 to make it easier.

You say you have a list of 10?

Then go to Best Buy's website or CompUSA's or something like that and look up the prices. This post is like calling me at home on my day off and asking me how much it costs to fly from L.A. to Houston roundtrip with 14 days advanced notice, when all you had to do was call the 800 number or go online and look it up yourself(because I don't carry that information around with me in my back pocket).

EDIT:
the point is...pehaps you would get the infomation faster if you just looked it up yourself instead of waiting for someone else to find it for you.

I dont have a list right now but yesterday i ran a list of about 10 off and someone said "Ohh yeah pick any one of those and it will run okay, my brother has one of those."

Uhh... That doesnt help me... Those cards were 20-100$ i doubt that they could all run the game smoothly.

And btw will this run it? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1077627694525&skuId=6365391&type=product

Yes that should run it just fine, its better than the minimum specs and this game doesn't exactly require top notch computing power...

It should do the job just fine.

While that card would run WoW fine I think, I would suggest paying another 30 bucks or so and getting a better card. 9600 Pro for example.

Higher clock, faster and more memory.
