Yeah, however he did it it's pretty impressive. You have to admit that. I'm not the type to power through MMO's, but I will give credit where credit is due.

Alot of people on his server know him, sounds like he's a good guy. Apparently has a good rep in all of the games he's played.

That's cool. More power to him then. I'd feel bad for the Alliance on that server, except that 21 of the top are Alliance. So maybe it's Xenif I should feel bad for because you gotta know every Alliance dog in town is gonna want a piece of that action.

The highest player on Kel'Thuzad is "only" 43. I found it cool that the top five players on my server and over half of the top 25 are all Horde... I guess Alliance lowbies should be leveling instead of invading the Barrens five times a day.

Or the horde has a horribly imbalancing game crushing set of quests that give to much experience and are too easy to do and all clustered together! OH THE HUMANITY. Err j/k. I haven't a clue. :P
Maybe it's just me, but I don't find getting to that high a level in a week impressive.
Now if he was that high of level, had high crafting, had alot of quests done and didn't have an above-average playing time. That would be impressive.

Seriously a lot of people probably feel the same way. What I define as impressive is that I wouldn't be able to do it myself, even if I would have put in as much play time. I just simply wouldn't have been able to do it, that fact that I wouldn't want to is besides the point I think.
That's all I was getting at. Do I think the game is more fun if you complete quests, read up on the background stuff, explore, craft, and just dink around sometimes? Sure. However, there is one cool thing about being #1. I got this off the main forums, but it still makes sense. He get's to say FIRST!
I think a lot of people play this game hoping to get a certain amount of notoriety. They want to gain respect from their fellow players, they want to be well known for something, everyone wants a little bit of fame in their lives. By being the first to cap upon release of a game this size, you certainly get that. However short lived or insignificant it may seem to most of us, he will be the first person to ever hit cap in World of Warcraft. That opportunity only comes once.
On the main boards this guy got flamed (bad hygiene, never gets laid, worthless, pathetic etc.), but really no one know's this guys circumstances, or why he's able to play as much as he does. So while I believe there are better ways to spend your time, both in-game and out of it, than powerlevelling your character, I certainly won't pass judgement on this guy for doing it, and just the simple fact that any of us are even talking about it, probably makes his mission successful.

Sheesh do they go to work or anything? I play five hours a night and I'm not that high. Then again I craft, fish and explore. *shrugs* Seeing that some are not only on the same server but guild looks like they are just building up for PvP. I think there are about to be some raids going on *grins*
