1.Are parties anything like FFXI and are they easy to find? I love the whole party system from FFXI and want to know if WoW is similar
No. In FFXI, partying is the game. In WoW, partying is usually only for doing harder quests, instance dungeons, etc. While there are some great party challenges, you will spend a lot more time soloing.

2. I play FFXI on PS2. I want to get WoW for PC. Does it run well on a system that meets a the system requirements, with a GeForce FX?
It should run fine. For best results, make sure you have at least 512 megs of ram

3.Is there a great sense of accomplishment after you do somthing like gain a level, or find a rare item
It's not quite like FFXI. Then again, I've only been as high as L20. In FFXI, finishing AF or finally getting my Hornetneedle after 6 hours of camping for Bee Larvae or finally finishing Limit 1 felt AMAZING ... but then again, that was mostly because of the incredible amount of times required to get them.
No. Despite what you might have heard, WoW is challenging in it's own way...

6.Are the jobs and guilds and classes fun
Yes. Crafting is fun. You can't lose materials, so the challenge is finding the materials - which can be rare/expensive as you craft at the higher levels. The classes are fun. Every class is soloable, and every class has a good number of abilities to keep things interesting.

7. Can you switch between any jobs you want?
No. You cannot switch classes. You can however have up to 8 charactes per server.

8. Is there a sense of community?
The game has been out for 1 week ...
A bit - but Blizzard has been working on it and it has been improving drastically. Again - the game has been out for a week!
Yes. It feels a lot less like "work" than FFXI. But you have to try it and judge for yourself.
