Hello I was thinking of purchasing this ande I was wondering how a paladin tanks. I played the stress test beta and it wasn't what I expected, although I enjoyed rogue.

Please provide me w/ info on the paladin tanking and how it works and what not.

Thanks

the thread includes my point of view on Paladin tanking and another view on War tanking, just in case you might be interested.

EDIT*

My mistake that post wasnt directed at paladin like i though it was, however you still might be interested.

Anywho,

After reading the thread you will have noticed the mention that tanking is different from FFXI because of the single mob compared to the multi-mob battles. A paladin still has high armor compared to the other classes, excluding war and the term tanking in reference to the paladin taking the majority of the hits is the same. However the paladin tanking is different from war tanking because you have to use spells that cause the monsters to aggro you instead of you're squishier counterparts. This is like FFXI. Other than the multi mob thing, tanking is similiar and involves you taking most of the hits.
