yeah i tried my first Instance tonight. went in as lvl 18 came out lvl 19 and 1 gold richer but we didnt get to beat the thing and it was kinda long and challenging. anyone else tried an instance yet.
btw i did the Defias Brotherhood (Elite) instance.

Did Ragefire Chasm with some of the guild the other night. My first Instance. I hadn't done one during beta.
Was fun.
It's very nice to be able to go into a dungeon and not worry about other parties.

Yepp I've done the Van Cleef instance, and you need a good/ well blanced group in order to beat instances.
i also did the stockade instance, was never able to kill the final boss, think we were 20-something and he was 25 something [elite].
Anyway the van cleef (defias brotherhood) instance is really fun since ppl always start fighting about who wants the Siamese-cat, I won the lot ;)

I mostly do instances with my guild, since most people in pick up groups just plain suck at it.
Tried to do the pseudo-instance Dun Garok in Hillsbrad Foothills with a pick up group, god they were so horrible.

I agree, friend/guild groups are the way to go as far as instances. In the OB I attempted VC 5 times and never completed it (all with pickup groups ). Did it with my guild and we beat it on the first try. You really don't want a group that going to die, especially at the end. If you die at VC you can't loot him, and if you wipe the dungeon is respawned by then.

ive done (Horde) RFC (ragefire chasm) which is generally easy now, i can usually pick up a lvl 17 area pub group and not need a healer, but Wailing Caverns on the other hand, its extreemly hard for lvl 20 groups WITH 2 healers, leanred that last night...but the loots are unbelievable if you have a fair group who only rolls on what they can use/need
Yeah me and my guild are gonna try the VC instance again once i hit lvl 23-25 or something because my guild only did the instance because i needed too.
