Hi! Ya all.
I have a level 8 Warlock. I can't seem to find a sword or wand I can use. Do I need to get to a higher level and then train or something before I can use these?

Be sure to accept every quest come across, most of these you can multitask with. Quests in WoW always allow you to choose a weapon you can use at the moment, so there shouldnt be any real problem. If this somehow fails, you could always look for low level items on weapon NPC's and the Auction House in Ogrimmar.

Thanks for the tip. This looks like a good site and I added it to my favorites list. I did not state my question very well. I have a wand I took off a Kobold Geomacer that looks like I should be able to use it. When I try to equip it, I get a message saying I do not have the proficency to use it. How do I get the proficency to use the Wand?

As a Warlock you should use a staff, but if you really want to use that wand right now, you get training from weapon masters in either Ogrimmar, Undercity, or Thunderbluff. I cant tell you the exact location since I have never had to use a wand
