Well, I haven't seen this on my home server, but while playing a non-pvp server for no other reason than wanting to, I noticed something funny... people auctioning goods in /yell.

So, what these people are saying to me is "I know most of you turn off general chat, but I am not done bugging you." =P

No, this didn't infuriate me, nor did it bother me slightly, I was thinking more along the lines of "Gee, people turn off general so you shout instead?"

Many people SPAM literally 20+ lines from sales macros, then say "If you don't like that, just ignore me, I am making money".

What ever happened to wanting people to be able to hear you?

Not a rant, more of a thought. I am usually in general chat until people start insulting each other, as there are actually decent conversations at times, or even people selling items (reasonably). I just have to wonder why so many people WANT the servers they are on to hate them.
