This really confusing or really pointless.

Okay, I finish playing, eat dinner, do report ><, and log in about 5 hours later, I have 3 Z's where my level is, meaning im rested, I look at my quest log, head to a mine and kill THREE Kbold before it say "You feel normal." My point is, shouldn't it effect you for longer, e.i., 30-45 min, or like 20+ baddies, or did bliz just make it really pointless? Does logging longer increase your "rested" time?

/em looks confused...

Resting is just there as lanup. Log out for 8 hours get double exp for 1000 or so points. Log out for a week, maybe get double xp till you level, works with alts too. It encourages people to logout in towns/inns. It gives you a nice little kick for the time you are off.

If the reward was too great say double exp for time logged off you could hear the power girnders moan from a mile away.

So it is just a little kick and nothing game breaking.

Logging longer increases it.

They say logging in an inn for like a week gives you a level and a half.

I will admit I was surprised when after logging for a night I only killed a few mobs then went out of rested... However, if you think of this as a way to reward people for going out on the town irl or something, then you can see how you would need to be logged off for a day or so to see a bigger gain. Its still a nice bonus though.
