the game is unplayable...

wait every day on full servers to get in for hours...
once in you lag so badly you can't do anything or keep dying...
at one point either your booted or the server crashes...
process repeats again.

thats not a game, its worse than beta.
if they are gonna cap servers than do it right...
limit 1 character per server, limit 5000 registrations per server, lock the server forever, create a new server for every one that fills up.

problem solved, ppl want to be on same server with a friend... use the world pass system in FFXI from then on. 50 gold to buy one so it wont' be any time soon and Blizzard can work on the lagging and server cap more.

this is playing 30 million ppl tug of war with a 2 inch string.

Mommy dosnt love you? :(

Dont worry, I love you long time.

hey seo i have a car to sell you...

it only works half the time and you have to try for 2 or more hours to start it... it stalls alot and sometimes for no reason dies completely...
it eats gas like crazy and has a space of only 3 feet for the driver to fit into so you'll have to lay out across the seat to drive it (so you don't black out).
you can have it for $50 down and pay me $15 a month for the rest of your life.

don't worry the shop guys will spend hours fixing it but it should be back up soon, and its only 2 days out of the factory so don't complain about it.

see my point?

even if they do fix it and make it better 6 MONTHS from now...
first impressions are everything in gaming. make a bad one and your never trusted again. not even with new games.

No, I don't see your point.

A car is a car, a game is a game.

You want to make an analogy, compare games to games.

And when you do, you'll find that there isn't many (if any at all) MMO's that have a perfect launch.

I agree enough already. Blizzard wants to be top notch in online games then they need to tighten up. They have had plenty of time to get this right and STILL are having issues. They should have had a fix for the problem before the problem began and now we wait. Well I tell you what for the people who dont think its a big deal, someone must be paying your bill or you have all the free time in the world to play. i do not and its an issue that needs to be resolved ASAP.

The car moves and picks up hookers for me.

World of Warcraft does not.

Interesting, I think I will choose the car.

we compaired game to game already and you said that wasn't the same thing either...

now your just making excusses for a sorry company
you probably work for them dont' you...

there is no excusses just lies to try and cover up stupidity.

like i said open beta they saw couldn't handle the load of ppl that was signing up for it and that was like 10,000 ppl just out of the US alone... what made them think they could handle the other 1 million players in the US and 2 other countries outside of the US... not to mention the new players joining every day.

Okay, lets compare the game to a car.

Now since this is the first time it has been massed produced, let's say it is a Model "A".

Okay now since it is a Model "A" circa mid-1920's it won't have a heater, air-conditioning, power steering, power brakes, shocks, struts, radio, or powered windshield wipers.

Oh and it also has a tendency to break down quite often, overheat, get flats, and ride rough and sometimes takes a very long time to crank.

Man...and they called ME an Asshat.... No wonder you don't have any "friends".

Since the way a car operates is the same as servers, it all makes sense!

/sarcasm

2nd day! 2nd day! *laughs*

Besides, people who played the game before servers going crazy got a good idea how fun the game actually is. If they haven't played it yet, it builds excitement despite anger at the same time but will be happy when the time arrives. If their not, well there's nothing I can do for them but wave goodbye.

This will go on for a week, guaranteed. I expected this and others even warned of the insanity the release date would bring. I trust on Blizzard to fix the problem as they have done a great job fixing the open beta lag. Takes time, yes, but it'll come together in the long run. Patience is the key and if you do not have it, EQ2 or FFXI is right there waiting for you. :)

It's sad to see so many people so stressed out over a GAME! Yes, a GAME! Waaaah...I'm gonna sue....waaaah...I want my game now. LOL. RELAX!!! RELAX!!!

I think Blizzard is doing a fine job and the queues are a GOOD facking idea. If everyone was logging on at the same time...servers would CRASH....and NOBODY would be playing. So stop whining like spoiled little brats and just be patient. Eeeesh!

You could always buy a new car....

What the hell is this conversation about?

in the mean time ppl get tired of waiting for the fix and move to a new game. no new costumers join the game again for 6 months and the game doesnt' get fixed cause the big rush has gone away and they think its fine now... then they players come back when they get bored of playing the other game they got and find the same problems again cause blizzard is a lazy company that doesn't want to do anything for its money.

2nd day...

Servers are not a easy fix...not comparable to a car...

Murphy's Law states that everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Does this mean it will stay wrong? Nope, Blizzard won't let it go wrong for long. Their fanbase is too important for that. One of the things I love about the company :)

I did? That's interesting since I'm the one that compared WoW's launch to UO's Age of Shadows a couple posts up.

Like Red keeps saying, it's only the 2nd day.

If problems persist in a week or so, then complain to your heart's content.

Now we are talking about games?

What happened with the cars?

This conversation blows.

that would be true if they made a car now adays like that after the car was already out for 40+ years and had all that stuff from other companies already...

games have been out for a LONG time... they didn't research it enough to see what it would be like...
blizzards fault.

your going back in time... i'm not.
if that comparison was fair it would have to match timelines with games...

what games where out in the 1920's?

It's not even been 2 days yet. I agree when you buy a game it should be expected to play, but there is always the possibility of unforseen problems. I don't find this that big of a deal, if the problems continue for several days I may feel differently. But at the moment, give them a moment to sort it out.

So you went to pick up a game in a car that is breaking down? Why didnt you spend more money fixing the car instead of "Wasting money on this game"?

<-Lost.

And yet other companies have the same kind of problems. UO still has some problems with lag, servers going down, bugs, etc.. and it's been out for 7 years.

I don't go buy a coffee maker or a new game to play it a week from now.

Yeah, but if it was a brand new Coff-o-Matic 3000 LX with the built in frappucino maker, whip cream and sprinkle bar, and then you put it in the middle of an office building that emplyed 700 people at 7:00am, you just might have to get in line to use it, wouldn't you?

That's what's goin on here.

Im with Warchief on this one. Actually I do not mind all of these people b**ching and complaining about this. I hope they quit. That just means that there will be less people and more mobs for the rest of us patient gamers. I have said it once before and I'll say it again. Super Mario is where all you whiners need to go. I hear there is absolutely no lag on nintendo.

1) Coffee.
2) Cars.
3) Games.

Still waiting on ****.
