Fishing.. but where?Follow
I didn't really get to play that much of open beta, so I'm a little lost on this. I'm a little dwarf and I would like to fish, however I don't have a clue to where the guy that teachs this skill? Any help would help, thank you.

And then any open water that is at least a subjective 15 by 40 feet wide and long - thats the area - about 15 by 40 feet (how it looks) where the bobber falls. Havent seen any "puddles" yet. You also cant fish if your standing in water.
BTW - you can fish of the boat that takes you from NE island as long as its standing still - once it starts to move your line gets longer and longer and then you cant see the bobber anymore - it was cool.
Have fun - and I recommend buying the shining bauble for 50 copper - apply it to the bought rod - It gives you +25 fishing - which really increases your success a lot in the beginning.

When you enter Ironforge, pull up the map. You should see a little lake in the Northern part of the city (I think it's North anyway). You can fish there, and there is a trainer and supplier directly behind you. If you set your mouse pointer over the signs outside the stores they will let you know what's inside the stores.
Fishing tip #2 (that I can't take credit for)
If you run out to the Frozen Lake that's mentioned a few posts back there is a small camp of cooks and brewers. There is a woman standing on the dock of the "lake" that sells a fish recipe. If you fish here instead of inside Ironforge you can actually raise your fishing and cooking by useing the recipe you buy from her to cook the fish you catch at the Frozen Lake.

In OB i tried very hard to catch fish this way. I actually got one! It was great. I could barely even see my bobber. Took me a few clicks to hit it too.
Loch Modan has a good fishing trainer that also sells a level 1 cooking recepie for the fish you catch there.
Unfortunately you can not fish in moonwells. =/
