I read the Bliz forums, I'm so sorry, I'll never do it againFollow

All I have to say is OMFG! I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, the Bliz forums would be a bit better come retail, I was wrong. I don't think I'll ever go back there again...

We need a "Blizard Forum Support Group" here, I think I need a group hug....

*hug*

I tired to warn people.

Of course I've never seen an offical forum that was decent until the game had been out a few months. These are really bad becaues you can create a level one charcter and spam the borads semi-anonomus.

Yeah, it's pretty scary.

Never seen a bigger bunch of whiners.

Why'd you do it? Trying to prove you're a big man or something? Geez.

heh.

Here, have a Smiley: cookie and relax in our spacious forums.

I came here from the Blizzard forums in Open Beta. After seeing the maturity level here, I immediately subscribed to the site. I for one truly appreciate all the good folks here.

Yep, it's pretty bad over there. Annoying as hell with the copy/pasters attacking every thread. I think they all missed their afternoon naps or something.....

Ok I have heard how bad blizzard forums were, and until now I havent been over there.

I have never been so disapointed in my life with the maturatity of the children over there. I finally realize that the FFXI are not that bad. And for anyone who does not like FFXI forums I beg you just read any three threads on those forums

It's bad enough that I'm almost convinced I should just buy EQ2 instead. The EQ2 forums seem to be on a bit more of a mature level....

Never judge a game based on it's forums.

I avoid the WoW "official" forums like the plague.

It's scary there.

Never seen such a big group of whiners/asshats in my life.

I like to go to the WoW forums just to get a laugh about some of the things that folks complain about.

With the WoW forums being down right now, curiosity got the best of me and I went over to the Battle.net forums....

I guess if they can't whine and rant on the WoW forums any Blizzard forum will do.

What's really scary is that only people with actual WoW accounts can post there......

Incredibly scary. I very rarely read anything there that is helpful at all. I think my IQ goes down a few points every time I log in. It seems that, since they are the "official" forums, people just use them to complain about the game with some vain hope that their one complaint will change the game that thousands of people play. I have always used the Allakhazam forums for MMOs because the population of these forums always seems so much more mature, the threads are usually informative, and there are very few (if any) whiners. Thanks to everyone here!

I don't post much anyways on any forum but I must agree any Blizzard forums are scary. I have to give it to Moorgurd and his group at EQ2 there forums are great and very informative, a little whining here and there but nothing like other game forums, I am glad I have been a Allakhazam member for quite a while and will continue listening to the more mature crowd that we do have here.

Yeah I was checking out the Blizzard forums a bit yesturday, its pretty scary over there... It must suck being a mod over there.

Amen!

I won't be posting there anytime soon either. I played for a few hours last night and I thought it wasn't too bad (I played in the open beta). But from the official forums it would seem like the sky is falling on WoW... Queues galore! Lag aplenty! Game too easy!

Sheesh. Some people really need to calm themselves down.

Heh, great to see all the support here ^^ I'd rather run nekkid thru the FFXI general forums with "Rate me" tattood on my *** than ever go in the bliz forums again.

Why'd I do it? Cause I honestly expected that Bliz would have posted even a nice quick "We're rebooting the Pac/Mtn servers for this reason, back up in 20 min" just before they typed /makeWholeTimezoneShutdownNow! in their client. Not to sound like an offical forum whiner, but it woulda been nice. Then I wouldn't have ended up reading posts and curling up in the corner in fetal position.

If I ever get up the courage to go in there again, I won't read a single thread that doesn't have blue text in it. Would be cool if I could turn on something that filters out all the other non-blue posts.

I read the WoW forums but don't bother posting, unless it's in either my server forum or my class forum. Waste of time posting elsewhere.

Hello, I just came from those forums =P. A friend told me about Allakhazams and it seems like a much better place. I look foward to having useful topics and discusions. ^^
