I was just wondering is there any race/job/trade that will be best for soloing. Im just wondering as I've come from FFXI and im sick of not being able to play unless you have a party. Due to my timezone when Im able to play the server population should be at its lowest so this is an issue for me.

There have been many posts about this before. But I know your pain since I played FFXI as well and I couldn't really solo past 15 in that.

Yes, you can solo with just about anything in the game. Some jobs are harder than others, but not to the point where you're in tears and want to rip your hair out.

Soloing Classes I'd reccommend:
Paladin
Hunter
Rogue (good damage dealer, but low armor)
Warlock (you get minions and that helps when playing alone)

Now go play the game.

For the record, every class can solo. Equal level mobs are equal to a single player, not equal to a group. Some places may have a higher density of monsters making it difficult to kill one at a time, but there are always places to hunt. You always have the option to outlevel a quest and compleate it, even the "Elite" quests.

While ever class can solo, some classes have better tools then others. Hunter and Warlock have a pet to help them. Paladin has good armor and healing spells. Druid has solid buffs and decent armor. You may find that without decent equipment warriors drag a little. Mages can get over whelmed as can rogues. (One on one a rogue can handle anything but with multi-pulls rogue gets sticky.)

From FFXI, WoW is a totally different game. These guys are opposite ends of the spectrum. Forced grouping for any decent exp on one side, and most exp made by soloing on the other.

i hated that in FF XI too, but ahh...WoW is coming!

and yes, you can solo it from 1 to 60 without a problem, ofcourse grouping can be faster after 30lvl~
