I'm kind of disappointed by the fact that the Collector's Edition of WoW was sold out so soon. Since I've yet to recieve a credit card, I dind't get a chance to pre-order a piece over say, Amazon, or EB games before retail, and lost my chance to purchase one of these special sets.
So, I was wondering if anyone knows if the CE would be discontinued with the release of this batch, or would more be on the way in, say, a month or so. I've been really looking forward to owning the art book as well as a zergling pet :/ I don't plan to play WoW until mid/late December anyway due to finals. Any constructive response would be appreciated. Thanks.

Although it's too late to be useful. If you had the cash to do so you could have Pre-Ordered the CE in a nearby store.
Other then that not sure if they will make any more, doubtful as while it did make them that much more money i'm sure they want it to remain special and unique.
I saw 4 Diablo's today that made me "almost" wish I had the CE. I think you can pickup the art book at nearby book stores though if you still want that.
If you want to "chance it" you could always search Ebay as i'm sure someone there will be selling some CE boxes. Hell if someone sold a 10-year old grilled cheese sandwhich with the supposed picture of the virgin mary for 28k, i'd say chances are good.

Haha, alright thanks for the reply man...maybe I'll try out the local Best Buy, I hear there's some leftover CE's there over-the-counter, if such are even possible ...

I had to run down to target this morning to pick up my special edition. I had a regular edition payed off and all but when I heard about the pets I had to have one, but it was to late to pre-order the special edition so I guess my early morning target run did me well :)
walmart has CE listed for shipping dec 02, imagine thats the date the next wave of CE hits stores, got mine on backorder at best buy sigh. I think they lost alot of money, almost everyone will just buy the normal then wait a week to buy the CE when it gets re stocked.

I've read same.But Blizz did say that ce was a 75k copy limited run.Not that they won't make as many more as they think they can sell.Just what they said.I'm yet to get any of the CE pets(cause I bought for the art book and cd/dvd's).Will go back one day and pick something maybe.Guest pass hooked one here =).
Just out of curiosity, did anyone else notice that the CE box weighs about 10 pounds? It's huge! And the map is kinda small. =(
Did anyone watch the DVD yet? Just curious if it is any good? After ripping the game open (ok, carefully removing it from the amazingly well-packed box), then playing all night, I kinda forgot to check it out.

Yes, i also read that they had 75,000 copies of the CE. But usually when they sell things, they sell in batches. So i assume the first shipment of sales were not enough for the demand and that's why they're sold out.
The ebgames i reserved a copy at said that they only had the CE's that were from preorder, nothing more. So further down the road, they prolly would have more.
BTW, i did see a CE on ebay for $150 bucks. yep. $150, and somebody bidded on it. O_O

I have my CE... Panda Cub @.@;; I was gonna get the mini diablo or zergling... but I saw soo many running around.
The map was kinda small... disappointed in that~ everything else was alright. The thing was 10 lbs!!!! It was not fun taking that thing home from work during rush hour >.>
I barely got into the dvd because well I had to sleep to be here(work) in the morning, but I saw the intro and the trailors in it. The rest will have to wait till tonight after I get a couple more hrs in WoW.
