i play ffxi on ps2, didnt buy it for pc because my pc sucked at the time.
ive never gotten into pc games much due to the fact that i never had a decent pc. now i have one and i want WoW, will using the keyboard/mouse for this game irritate me?

I only used Keyboard in FFXI (played on PC), and now playing WoW. The only time I find myself using the mouse is to click stuff like "Accept Quest", and to take my Loot.
I wouldn't see there being any real problems, save for the obvious adjustment to keyboard. The controls are very much like many 1st/3rd person shooters as far as movement goes. I enjoy the controls alot more then I thought I would have, just gotta stop hitting the button to select nearest allie when I try to strafe and i'll be good to go.

I played FFXI with my trusty PS2 -> USB adapter but when i discovered WoW had no gamepad support i was.. uhm, crushed >.< But I found that using the keyboard and mouse was not as bad as I had intisapated. I don't think it should irritate you after you use it for a while, it will become natual.... I hope

It shouldn't violate the user agreement, as it doesn't modify the game nor interact with it. It talks directly to your hardware, which couldn't be breaking the rules :)

Just make sure if your going to a pvp server get used to your mouse.
