Im planning on dumping SWG for WoW cause i think SWG is starting to suck. Since SWG is the only MMO ive played im used to being able to dump my professions and such. From what ive seen with WoW this is not the case. I was wondering what Race/Class will be cool to play since i wont be able to just dump one for another without starting a completely different character. I want an overall cool character that i can have fun with and be OK at both PVE and PVP. I like to think im a pretty dedicated MMO player and i dont want to put in a bunch of hours on a character im not gonna have fun with. Any help at all would be awesome.

wow you finally found out swg sucks considering all the servers population is light except bria.....
Play what you like - every race/class combo is viable, and none are gonna give you problems.
You cannot change your class once you start. You can start lots of characters (I think 8 per server, 50 max or something) so if you don't like your char, start another one, and repeat until you feel you got it right.

Yeah keep trying new characters till everyone is 60 and your finally 10

Yeah thats the thing though i wanna have 1 character i can focus on that way im not behind. I dont wanna be a lvl 1 somthing when everyone else is level 40.

Just make ur up ur mind... narow down ur options. U wanna be melee? caster? ranged? tank? suport? healer? a litlle bit of all of them?
after that... u wanna be aliance? horde?
It is true that every class/race may work, stats will start a bit diferent, but later on the diference will be insignificant...
the only true diference in races is racial traits.
Some of those realy make a diference, even if not a big one. other than that is just having fun and enjoying ur char, imo this is the most important aspect of wow.

and if u dont like ur char just make a new one... is not so hard to lv up to high lv as in other games.
