Rogue or WarriorFollow
I tried both jobs to lvl 14 in beta and I Was wondering what would suit me better. I like PvP but I like to be able to solo also. What would be better?
Depends on if you want your main role in a party to deal damage, or take the damage.
It doesnt matter to me. I kinda wont like to be a tank but it doesnt really bother me.
Then i recommend rogue, since you don't like tanking but will do it. Unless there is another Warrior in the party, they will expect you to tank for them.
Plus you can pickpocket, stealth, and alot of cool moves to mess around with.

Yeah I liked rogue also. I just liked the big hitting damage of warrior also.
trust me, when you start getting higher ranked rogue abilities, the damage will show when you use combo points.
Plus having Sprint(think Flee from FFXI), and Evade(increase evasion by 50%) can get you out of sticky situations. Plus the ability to pick locks is priceless...

I've been torn between the same two classes. What I'm trying to figure out is how they match up in PvP... can a warrior withstand an rogues alpha strike and still be in the fight? If a warrior gets his hands and a stun or 2 on a rogue, is the rogue likely to go down? That sort of thing.
Well all the battles I seen the rogue kills the warrior. And I know Evade and Sprint I was Rogue till 14. I wanted to get paudrons but I deleted my char a day before beta ended. I thought it ended the exact moment the 18th hit. I thought Rogue was fun.
Everyone do warrior its the best....(stay away from rogue...too many...) lol just kidding do what you enjoy the most rogue has harder hits and warrior can take more hits
Yeah I know there is a lot of rogues. I have 2 of my friends going Rogues also. One Orc and one troll. I am going undead rogue IF I am going rogue. Most likely Rogue though.

The problem is that being told that rogues hit harder and warriors tank better sort of misses the point. If a rogue hits sufficiently harder that there is no path to victory for the warrior, all that armor is nothing more than window dressing. I am not the type to wander about looking for people to kill, but I will be on a PvP server so how I stay alive matters to me.
I am doing PvE but I love PvP. I will duel anyone anytime anywhere any place.
The thing about the rogue is if they get the jump on you in PvP you will most likely lose but they have to get the jump on you.
With warrior you just have to see them and hit. Warriors are good basic damage dealer they have alot of abilities that give them the advantage in a fair fight
