So has anyone else spent this downtime going through Warcraft 3? I forgot how great that game was, and how involving the story gets. That and it's like a new game for me, the first time I played I had a less then adequate pc. However now.....well I have everything maxed and I must say...it is still a very beautiful game.
I tired to do the whole 'play a different MMO until retail', but needless to say I just couldn't bring myself to do it. (except when a friend wanted me to help them-out with various task.)
Anyway, I just wanted to open a thread for Blizzard enthusiast and their Warcarft 3 experience. I mean retail hasn't come out yet, and I got to do something to keep the passion alive.

I did! I replayed the original and frozen throne and enjoyed the crap out of it. However, having done it all once before, I cheated the whole way through this time. I wanted to recap on the plot mainly. Great great game, great great plot.

I was going to, but I have recently formatted my C: and when I went to install WC3 it got to about 90%ish and it stopped reading the disc. Goes to show you that some things you think you'll never want again, you will want again. =(

Using a cd for a coaster isn't wise when it's a good game that you might want again someday. ><

Guess I should've learned my lesson when I bought UO...played it for a week...broke and burnt the disc (with fire, not a laser) and then 2 months later watched some friends playing and realised that I liked it and bought it again...then about 2 years later I did the same thing! God I'm so hard-headed. =\

I also bought SC three different times, but that was never my fault. lol

Ouch…

I’ve destroyed some disc in my days, but ouch.

Have you ever tried putting a cd in the microwave…now that’s the way all cd should be destroyed! (be careful though…it only needs 3 seconds….I say that again just 3 SECONDS) ….side effects unknown. Perform at your own risk.

i just played rexxars campaign. I havent yet, so i figured id go through it.

Interesting side note. Alliance and Horde are not at war. They have an ongoing pact made a little stronger after jaina turned on her own father to help the horde defeat him. So if i see any of you saying something like "im supposed to grief, we're at war"... ill have to hurt you. Ive seen that so many times on the WoW forums, and its wrong until backed up by thrall or jaina saying specifically "We're at war".

Thats what I heard on gamefaqs. But how then does this fit in to the plot:

(Human section of wow manual p.168)

..the armies of Stormwind have been called away to once again fight the savage Horde on distant battlefields. With the armies gone, the defense of stormwind now falls to its proud citizens.

Im so so confused on this...

And I don't wanna be killed...I have been thinking about being a troll. It's the accent that does it for me.

Don't listen to him. I played a Troll in ST2, and it was fun I'll admit, but I had even more fun being a Dwarf in Open Beta. Plus, the alliance lands look alot cooler than horde lands from what I've experianced. I love the snowy atomosphire of the dwarves/gnomes starting areas. (I did hear the Tauren area's were nice, but I've never been there.)

So...you should be a Gnome, with me, on a Central Time zone server, with my old FFXI friends. :)

Edit: I also have been playing WC3 TFT. Account name is *Draz*

If you're serious, then we have to meet up man, even if you decide to be Troll, lets get on the same server. It'd be great to have you in my group with my two old FFXI friends, but it'd also be cool to talk to someone from the other side of my own server. If you wanna talk IM me on AIM. ;)

Sarcasm...no, I was like "huh", because I've never even thought about it.

And, yes I will be on a Central Time zone server.
