Did a bit of research, did you realize that 41% of all women over the age of 35 play online games? At least it was according to the research paper I saw.

Yea but Cybersex shouldn't count as a game......

Thought that was interesting, I would hazard that a much higher proportion of men 35+ play online games.

I'd be willing to bet that at least 35% of that 41% counts online bingo, pogo.com, and the sims online...

My girlfriend and I will both be playing (her on the living room PC, me on the one in the bedroom), and we're both 21.
Also both FFXI converts. Similar situation to most, after L60 FFXI slows to a crawl, and neither of us had the time to get a full party together and keep leveling after that point, even though we always had a paladin and a white mage to start off with.
I'm sure we're going to have much more fun on WoW :)

I remember Empire. It was quite popular but I found it to be a lil cheezy and limited for my tastes.I played it a couple times in The computer room at DragonCon in Atlanta the summer of 1990.A guy there and I tried to play vs eachother but the game crashed after a few turns and after 3 tries we went back to playing the AI.

Lol, the AI in that was hilarious, enemies would randomly spawn next to your base.

I started gaming when I was 2 also. First game I remember playing (probably not the first I did play) was mario for nes. I also remember when computers were dos only and everything was on a floppy disc, and I played brick and pong and sopwith on computer...those were my first PC games. =)

I have to say, it truly is quite refreshing to see such a variety of people in a forum (and game). Most forums I have been to are occupied by teenagers of the ages thirteen to sixteen. And as for older gamers, I actually get along with people of the older sort very well — infact, I was the youngest person in my DAoC guild.
