When do you all think the first expansion pack will be released (if they even release one) And what would you like to see added?
Aren't we putting the cart before the horse here?
Anyway my two cents.
If it follows other games patters, we will probably see major patching 2-3 months into the game as those "extra" features they couldn't finish before retail are polished. As far as a full expansion I'd not even expect to hear of one before 6 to 8 months.

Maybe once there are enough - 20%?? - higher lvl players they could add some neutral zones where the beasts hate everyone and the Alliance and Horde can fight for control - with a bar that shows how much each side controls and that would be the place to allow for higher lvl caps with appropriate quests etc.- but no idea how long it takes to go from Idea to working code.
Lol, my opinion will be that Expansions will be few and far between for WoW. They clearly stated that they would do lots of patches for no charge, i read that in the forums. I am guessing that the Expansions will be in a long time, 6 - 8 months, they still have plenty of stuff that they are gonna add in future patches.

Speaking of which, when are these battle grounds for PvE server coming out?

you are paying a monthy fee... so you are paying for patches and fix and stuff
My bet is on a year in Blizzard time, e.g., 20 months.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
unlike diablo 2, you pay per month, so no, it won't take 20 months for an xp (unlike d2 1.1 where they were working on wc3 and wow at the same time)
