my personal theory about this - if you are complaining about KSing in this game or in FFXI, you need to play a EQ or DAoC and feel real KSing. it's not an issue in this game at all.

I disagree completely. You might get more exp per kill, but you kill a lot slower when taking on elites in instances. They die slower and you incur more downtime for most classes. I get much more exp per hour tearing through non-elite mobs within a few levels than me. No downtime + 20 seconds kills = good exp rate. Plus, your strategy just doesn't hold up when you hit higher levels and every pull in an instance has 5 or more mobs in it.

As level 24 Mage i have found that the best Soloing Exp comes from finding mob camps out in a zone, you need to find the camps (like the gnolls in westfall) that have many mobs that are spread apart. There are a few camp fires with 3/4 mobs around them but there are like 20 gnolls that walk around and can be safely solo pulled. These are really nice exp, not to mention they are humanoids and therefore drop money/items/materials alot.
