OB DL: Zonealarm ProblemFollow

I'm currently downloading the Open Beta for WoW. After quite some time, the DL is at 50/2481 MB. This is a surprisingly low download rate seeing as how i have DSL, albeit, the worst DSL in the history of computers, but DSL nonetheless.

The Downloader noted that my Zonealarm firewall was up and suggested i configure it for better download speed. And it directed me to a tutorial with handy step-by-step screenshots on how to do so. I've lost that link, and can't get the prompt back, but that's not the issue. I have the free version of Zonealarm, and you can't access program options in that version. However, i used the ZoneAlarm Pro free Demo in order to gain access to program options. Anyways, my option screen looks completely different than the one they showed.

It lacks a "Allow protocols on ONLY the ports listed below" area, and has only a generic checklist of options. If anyone has any experience with ZoneAlarm, and can walk me through the process, i'd be grateful.

PS: Woohoo! My download just ticked up to 2%!

I use ZA as well, and I didn't run into those problems since I just allowed permissions for the DL'er program to have full access. I also port fowarded all associated ports as well to my computer doing the work. I have had ZA on and ZA off, with no overall change in bandwith response. Just in case while I am doing this, I have it off while I am sitting here reading forums while my last... 10% downloads ^ ^. Sop my suggestion to you is ensure you have given full access permission sfor that program alone, (you can do this in Free ZA), and give it time to ramp up. It can take up to 5 minutes to get going good. Best of luck!

I found a more up-to-date guide on blizzard's site, and configured access to the proper ports.

That was like...8 seconds ago. So, does it take a few minutes after that or after i first started to "get going" would you think? Cuz, i've been here well over an hour, and i'm at 89/2481.

I may try cancelling the download, rebooting, running an adware check again, and resuming the DL if it doesnt improve some...
