Those of you who know me well, you know that my mind tends to wander in awkward directions. I was looking through the Blizz site and found a pic of someone's mom who is addicted to WoW. It got me to thinking about what would happen if my mother would start playing. Well, this is assuming I can get her to try in the first place... ^_^;;
My mother... could probably hold her own, once she figured out the controls and such. Not entirely sure, as she isn't much of a game-player and I haven't seen her in action. Out of sheer curiosity, how about you all's mothers?

I wouldn't want to corrupt my poor mother with game addiction. It's bad enough I am a game addict. :)

My mom's 50, and already hooked from the previews I've given her (she really enjoys playing a Rogue). She's even pre-ordered WoW & is eagerly anticipating open beta & retail.

My Mom would try the game if I insisted, but she would by no means continue playing it past 5 minutes. Same for the wife.

Maybe today's Moms might be a bit more inclined to play, as they have been exposed to computer gaming/ console gaming a lot more than what my Mom was. Would be kinda cool to play with Ma in an MMORPG, except any time you PVP someone she would yell at you for fighting. heh

Lady Darkflame, I miss Boo, where did she go? :(

Edit to capitalize Boo, it is a proper name after all. :P

i dont think i would like playing with my mom even if she did play. Yeah we could share some bonding moment or some crap but then she would see the real side of me and i dont think she would like that too much. That and the fact that i am extatic if she remembers how to turn a computer on let alone play a game on it

My mom would suck horribly. Lack of interest, lack of coordination, lack of being able to understand the environment. I had trouble convincing her to try the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? on-line game at the show's website, and she loves that show and is good with trivia. (And she does pretty poorly at it, too.)

Well I have only seen my mom play ONCE! and it was so strange. Me and my friend were playing street fighters on his house and our parents where on the living room, suddenly my mom comes to us and watches us playing for a while, guess she got bored of the conversations with the others. Then she asked for the controlers and started pushing bottons at random LOl, and you know that in street fighters that sometimes work HEH.
