1. Are there any good sites with videos for WoW?

Number 2 has been asked before in another thread, but the question wasn't answered in my opinion.

2. How is the level grind in WoW? How fast or slow is it, and do/did you have tedium spots?

I currently am playing FFXI and it's starting to turn me away. Not for the reasons i've seen most post though. For me I have just gotten tired of having to level a subjob so I can play the job I want, and I don't want to party with an underleveled subjob. Other then that finding ways to make gil (FFXI money) has become more annoying then the equipments worth.

I was almost ready to party again with my Thf in FFXI, until I found out my dagger which I payed 30k Gil for was now only worth 9k. >.<

The grind isn't so bad in this game. You can solo all the way up to 60 if you like. I've heard hardcore player got to level 60 in a week or two, but it took me over a month to get to level 43 playing about 4-8 hours a day. I did a lot of exploring and quests though. If you just grind and ignore trade skills and exploring then you could probably grind your way up pretty fast.

Ya i'm just trying to make sure it's not too easy and not too hard. See I would love to explore, and I do plan on it come Open Beta.

I would explore in FFXI alot more if it wasn't the fact that I have to make sure that the mobs that aggro are TWTBWW (FFXI players know what I mean) or else ill get aggro and have a fight of my life on my hands. Kinda sucks getting beat down by easy matches, and after losing 1k or so xp from deaths you start to dislike exploring as much.

The only problem with dieing in WoW craft is if you end up in a tuff place and keep getting killed over and over again every time you get to your body ang get ressurected. You don't lose experience for dieing though unless you use the ghost healer at the graveyard that will ressurect you there so you are safe.

Having options is better then auto losing xp no matter what you do. Sure Ressurect spells in FFXI restored some xp (highest level one restored almost all), but you still lost the xp.

Plus I don't think I will mind having to run to my corpse, it'll be fun waiting till the mob has his back turned and then grabbing my body and running away.
