Of course they didn't answer any questions on Hero classes and racial traits.

The thing I liked was the affects of being drunk.

Hehehehe I love the drunken effects. I'm going to have fun with those.

*Out with a buddy after a few rounds* Hic! Hmmm, I wanna see if I can solo this monster *Points at a raptor*

Buddy: Errr, dude, I don't think you can...

Hic! What are you taking about? I can solo this underlved monster! Look how weak it is...slimy *******....hic!

Buddy: Dude, I'm telling you that...

Shhh! I'll show you I can take on this mob...hic!

*5 seconds later, Redmoon finds out that monster was actually 10 levels higher then he was and was torn limb from limb*

I remember reading somewhere that Blizzard wanted to make taverns a place that people actually want to go and hang out in.

The drinking effects may be on way.

I can think of a couple others..

Games of chance...

Awww... the "everyone's a hot girl" would have been awesome!

I'd be drunk constantly.

It'd be cheaper then going out to the bar and getting the same affect.

That interview was a lot of fluff, and only one thing really caught my eye:

Raid progressions.

Planes of Power, anyone? This one of the major things players didn't like about later EQ expansions, even though I see the logic behind it and understand it was for the players' own good. Of course, one of the largest problems with this was spawn competition. Even on a non-PvP server, EQ guilds could selectively ***** other players by camping select chokepoints, notably Rallos Zek, that takes practice to be able to pull off for the up-and-coming guild. At least in WoW, hopefully everything will be instanced so there won't be that one ******** guild that decides to cockblock everyone else.

Will there be multiple hero paths per race/class or only one route? Would you be willing to share some interesting hero tidbits with us?

Hero classes will be one of the high-end features in World of Warcraft. After you have achieved the highest character level (level 60) you will have the option of secondary advancement to achieve Hero status. It will be a very challenging task to accomplish, and we envision the first players to gain Hero status will be mini-celebrities on their respective servers

they talked about hero classes...maby not in depth but its nice to here that the hero class will be nice and hard to acheve

I love the drunk effects, they need to make more things like that to make places where the community will just hang out and chat and drink. Sorta like cantina's on SWG except cooler :P
