WoW Account Question...Follow

#1 Aug 20 2004 at 2:20 PM Rating: Decent
Let's say I let a friend download and try out WoW (shhh). If I give him my name/pw and account key, and say for instance he got mad at me, and changed the password... would I be able to change it back since he dosen't know the email that I used when I got the account? Or would I be screwed?

Does the PW change need to be verified via email (I haven't ever done it) or does it just go right through? And if it does go right through, would Blizz help me out if I were to say I had gotten hacked... or would they tell me to fek off?

When you log in at worldofwarcaft.com you get an option to change your password in the upper right area where you first logged in. There is also an option to retrieve your password, where you answer your hint and it sends it to your E-Mail. Basically, if you made the account and you know your hint and he doesn't have access to your E-Mail address, he can't steal your account from you.
