Cataclysm Closed Beta Key Contest!Follow

#477 Jul 26 2010 at 7:59 PM Rating: Good
What im looking forward to seeing in Cataclysm is the new storyline for the Alliance and Horde. With the Alliance stepping into the Horde territory, the savage Garrosh is sure to give them hell as the tunnel visioned King of Stormwind Varian retaliates. I can't wait to see what they're going to ask of us to do, especially the new members to the factions, the Goblins and the Worgen. And hopefully maybe there will changes made to the Burning Crusade races. Hopeful wishes for the Draenei, one of my main and favorite races.

I can't wait to see the quests for the Worgen, to learn about them and fully understand their history. With the Undead not too far, there is sure to be trouble.

Basically, Im really excited to see the changes made to the old world, the new races and their stories, and last but not least……

Tauren Paladins

Im definitely looking forward to Cataclysm!

I'm looking forward to Archaeology, to the new dungeons, and to playing as a Goblin!

Honestly, I'm most excited about the fact that Cataclysm is getting back to WoW's original roots (i.e. Alliance vs. Horde), and running through all the old dungeons, because I never got to do them in vanilla. :(

I'm looking forward to exploring an unfamiliar world with a new character with some old friends who are going to be playing again.

I'm most looking forward to the story line. The class changes are looking very interesting, as are a lot of the mechanic changes, but I've always been a lore hound and the story is what keeps me playing this game. Cannot wait!!

It's been four years since I first set foot in Azeroth. I've done many great or terrible things depending on one's perspective - I started out as a Warlock and mastered many classes along the way. For a long time now, I've strayed from the path I set before myself the moment I awoke in the Valley of Trials four years ago. Now, I look forward to completing the circle and starting anew in a world reborn in fire... a Horde remade, thirsting for the blood of those who would challenge us, and to serve under the unrelenting will of our newly appointed Warchief, Garosh Hellscream. I look forward to a more savage Horde, ready and willing to crush the Old God's pawns and Alliance alike and to wage war on the very elements that bind our world. LOK'TAR OGAR!

I'm mostly excited about both new races. I missed not having a new playable race this Xpac. The DK was fun but I would have liked to see another playable race. Also I'm interested to see all the different zone changes. It should all be very awesome. Can't wait!!!

Alts, alts alts!!! This expansion is an alt-o-holic's dream. I can't wait to level my 3rd Paladin (Tauren), 2nd Mage (Goblin), and 3rd Warrior(Worgen)... All at the same time playing, essentially, a brand new game. :)

I am really looking forward to play a Human Hunter or a Worgen Warrior!

I'm totally digging the way they are revamping all the quests in the old world and bringing in a bunch of new lore that I've been waiting to come into the game since the game came out. (I'm looking at you Uldum sitting there all alone in the desert.)

:D

What I'm most excited about is how Azeroth will be reshaped! Also, I would love to see how the war between the alliance and the horde will work out, seeing that they're going all out on eachother now.

Im looking forward to the new content for the lower level because of the changed areas, yano after so many alts the areas get that boring its like being a zombie to level. Hopefully the world changes will change ALOT of the quests :D

Also I cant wait to FLY in azeroth, that is going to be my highlight of my WoW year!!

Im most excited about making a new character and leveling in the new Azeroth. The revised zones look amazing, and the quest's look more engaging than before. Also, im excited about the new dungeons, they actually look like they take skill now, id love to try one out and hopefully wipe once or twice.

Flying around the old world.

I am totally dying to test out the new paladin, hunter, and Death Knight Mechanics, such as new spells, new talents, and where they are going in Cataclysm so far. It would be amazing to test out the new dungeons and if possible, raids. I then want to check out the new starting zones and figure out the best way to level.

I would be the news source for all my friends, since they don't have keys and are anxious to know all about Cataclysm. They have all been psyched ever since they heard about the expansion in last year's Blizzcon. If I win this key, I will not just leave it on my computer, sitting there. I will use it all the time, every chance I get. I am a serious player and I don't jerk around, like some other people who got the beta keys and test out useless things. I would love a key and thank you in Advance if I win one, and if I don't, then thank you for the opportunity to enter the contest.

I'm most excited for the new raids. I can't wait to get to 85, get geared up, and see the inside of the three entry level raids!

I'm most excited to see how things will change, its a kind of scary excitedness. And super excited to play a Goblin!

I'm most excited about how the death knight rune changes will play out in Cataclysm. Oh and the return of Deathwing.

What im waiting for most in Cataclysm is the old world changes, for several reasons:
1) i always liked Azeroth architecture the most, felt outland too outlandish and otherworldly like im in a sci-fi MMO and not fantasy. Wrath was a nice change but felt too vikingy. Azeroth always felt like the perfect match for me in a fantasy world so im excited that is back
2) Alliance - Horde conflict is back in the picture, im tired of sharing my cities with the horde, i miss the good old days of ganking people outside of AQ and BWL. i always felt like the temporary truce between the 2 factions is kinda forced and there were way too many places declared Sanctuary where u cant attack the other faction.
3) Flying Mounts, i wanna gank the troll village in darkshore, pwn the drake between elwynn forest and burning steppes, visit the airfield and other places on the hills of ironforge, so many inaccessible places now made accessible just makes my mouth water.
4) Alts!!!! cant tell you enough how tired i am of doing the same old quests since release! i already know them by heart and get bored really quickly when trying to level alts. different quests, more intelligent quests are always welcome!!

I'm absolutely ecstatic about the upcoming expansion. New dungeons, New races, and best of all Vanilla wow redone. I get to reroll a toon and experience it like brand new. To be able to recreate the joy of when i first played is a huge deal for me. I tune in daily to all the message boards i can trying to catch just a glimpse of my dream. Not only will it be me this time i finally got my wife to agree to play with me. she agreed to play when cataclysm drops! Heres hoping it comes soon!

FOR THE HORDE!!!

I am most excited about the changes we will see in Azeroth lore. The new terrain, the maturation of characters (the Stormwind prince is not a little boy anymore!). I've also heard snatches of the reappearance of the high elves. There will be so many new things to see & learn; I can't wait to see how the storyline progresses with the new expansion!
#498 Jul 26 2010 at 8:05 PM Rating: Good
I am excited to play the new talent trees and explore the "new" old world from the air. I think this will feel like a new game with all Blizzard is doing in this expansion.

Oh yeah, i am giving a goblin shaman a chance.
#499 Jul 26 2010 at 8:06 PM Rating: Good
Would be interesting to see the new changes to the rogue talent tree for combat. The world phasing is also something that I am looking forward to, the volcanoes and fires seem to be very well done in the pictures. The new raiding system paired with the guild leveling and guild abilities appear to be something nice for people who don't raid and enjoy doing achievements. The new glyphs and profs are going to be fun to level and discover with all the new upgrades and different paths to choose.

I'm excited for the revamp of the world, because from the revamp of the world that brings new story. Many people play the game for end game content which is fine, many people never ever read what the quest giver has to say. They just think "Oh more things to kill"

I have started reading the story line and well it may take up sometime, but it is very interesting.

I want a beta key for the sole purpose of not only telling Blizzard some bugs and what I think about the quests but I am dying to some story for myself.

Thank you for reading :)

It's not about the new races, but the expansion as a whole. I may have seen screen shots, but I can't wait to actually -be- there and see how much the game has really changed. Everything about it just looks completely different including the user interface I'm familiar with.
It will be great seeing all the changes to my class and even rolling a new alt to see all the new content, quests, and some different story lines.
=) Excited about the dungeons and raids as well and how different they may be. On top of all of that, seeing all the changes to the class and spec I play and perhaps even re-learning it will be interesting.
