Pasta + bacon + eggs + ketchup = Sunday morning
As for ketchup, we've got two kinds of ketchup here.
One is a
"sandwich" ketchup, used primarily in our hotdogs and
hotdog stand burgers (they're like regular burgers, except there are no vegetables in them - not counting the pickled cucumber salad). This ketchup mostly consists of apples and potatoes...
The other kind is
this type. We use this one for pasta and french fries and all that.
German ketchup always reminds me of the curry ketchup. It's the best ketchup for fries, period. Used to eat it a lot when I was skiing in Austria. They'd carve up half a cow for me and bring in a bucket of fries with curry ketchup on the side.
Thank god for high metabolism, right?
By the way, where did I mention ketchup and pasta? I know I did, because I remember writing it, but I don't remember where...
