lol, poor guy. Does seem weird that nobody has a pvp server they can recommend.
I play on Proudmoore, although horde side. Alliance side is much more popular though. The server's population is huge, and fairly evenly split between north american players and aussies, which makes for non existent queue times, aside from expansion launches.
I will warn you however, that Proudmoore has a pretty extensive LGBT population. If you do any sort of gay bashing in trade, you will get flamed into oblivion. Also, on the rare occasion politics do come up in trade, the conversation tends to lean more liberal minded as a result, where a few others I've been on in the past have been evenly split. If this isn't an issue for you, welcome! If you're looking for a social/leveling guild, I think Stonewall Family would be a good bet, as i believe they are the Alliance counter part to Taint, the world's largest LGBT guild, and the 2nd largest guild in the world overall.
Can you confirm/deny that Fish? I don't have any Alliance toons on the server, so I'm not really sure what's available.
Well, over here in blue we don't have the huge "one big family" feel I've heard Proudmoore Horde has. I really don't see much difference between Proudmoore and other servers I've played on. (Although she's right about no queue. Fun times.) The one exception is the presence of the Stonewall Family series of guilds, which are awesome.
Tradechan is still Tradechan. I don't have much to say on it, as in my guild we kind of have a policy of staying away from it and not making the guild look like idiots.
Honestly, I think Proudmoore's mostly good reputation comes from its Horde side. Over here on Alliance, I just don't see much difference between it and, say, Echo Isles, my last server. There's just more people active. Proudmoore Horde has this awesome thing where if you know the people in one guild, then you know the people in all the guilds. It's, like I said, one big family, and they're all awesome people that generally aren't dou
chebags. Over here on Alliance, it's just a more typical WoW experience; that isn't a bad thing, you should just know that coming in.
If you're looking to level a toon on Alliance, I do recommend joining the Stonewall Family. They're an awesome group of people that will help you on the way to 85. If you don't, there's plenty of other leveling guilds over here on Alliance as well. The thing about Alliance is that there's just too many people to get the networking Pigtails has on Horde. It's kind of like a small college vs a major state college. Pick whichever applies to you.
