the problem is, i want to use the fang with
galactic civilizations ii, and that game has no keybinding options whatsoever. it's basically a mix of the original civ and moo (master of orion.)
once your empire hits a certain point, with a mature economy and morale resources, you want to go through and have all your colonies which are at or near their population cap to build a farm. so you have to go through this procedure for each planet:
select tile
(random location, center of screen) queue farm construction
(random loc, right side) select farm
(random loc, center) purchase farm
(fixed loc, bottom) yes i'm sure
(fixed loc, center) next planet
(fixed loc, upper right) it's really no problem if you've only got 10-15 colonies, but in a 'gigantic' size galaxy, you can have up to 250 or so planets, and like i said... there are NO KEYBINDINGS in the game, those are all mouseclicks. on a 1650x1080 screen (stretched to 1920x1200 it looks really good, actually) you're doing laps with your mouse and it gets kind of annoying.
like i said there's no keybindings in gcii, and no way that i can see to get mouseclicks into the fang using the included fang software (game companies' request, i suspect...) which means i'd have to use a third-party (fifth-party at this point?) program to take the fang keypress and translate it into mouse movements gcii would understand.
it's the fifth-party program here i'm afraid that wow would not like... i'd never use it for wow, but i'm still scared of TEH BANSTIKC.
