Impressive lexicon, terrible poetry. One of the less boring trolling attempts.

That's an easy conclusion to jump to, soemthing Ohmikeghod did. So why is this ratiocination and not dismissive egotism? Well here we go.

The entire facade is set up to impress. The poems are stereotypical. Odes with the kind of vocabulary one normally associates with astute or linguistically inclined people. It is true some poems are like that, but anyone who DOES have a predileciton of poetry will tell you this follows a perfect stereotype, and that most modern poems are of a different form (though of course there are many individual styles). A few examples are the poets Cummings and Frost. The poems posted here and purely a petty attempt at manipulation. Oh, and this is also somewhat evidenced by the fact that they are terrible, seriously.

And yeah the spontaneous appearance of low count posters who adamantly praise the OP doesn't make the situation any less dubious.

The difference between someone who uses a varied lexicon to impress and one who does so to be accurate is obvious as well.

Haha, great post Allegory and I agree wholeheartedly, though you explain yourself in a much better fashion than I ever would (I'm not much of a word man, nor a bird man - quiz: Where'd I get that from?).

Anyway, it seems some of these people (more so deadbrother than anyone else) is trying too hard to sound intellectual... to the point of being boring. And to deadbro, Mike was only criticizing (and mostly spelling mistakes). There is no need to insult someone's intelligence.

No problem on my side - I enjoy a battle of wits against an unarmed opponent. Especially one whose spelling is laughable, whose vocabulary is worse, and who is totally unaware that there are online tools (dictionaries, even rhyming dictionaries) available.

Ha ha, Michael, you cunning Jackal! You Slug! You Toad! The Feasibility of the obscenity of the situation preside in borderline if not stagnant effectors, which clearly dictate supreme dominance of my intelligence over yours! Your posts are those of an eight year old school girl! You do not understand the vast depths my intelligence stretches, I understand latin and Celtic tounges, what do you speak? I have mastered Elvish, Taru Taru, and Hebrew. Before you resort to slander, know your so called "unarmed" opponent, you pig, or as we say in latin Pigus. Just because you are a strange and nebulous individual who has illustrations of dragons as his iconic representation, does not mean you must resort to mocking fun at my intelligent and well thought out posts.

First off deadbrother, you were the one that resorted to insulting one's intelligence first. Are you not smart enough to realize this? Secondly, it's spelled TONGUE, not tounges. If you plan to insult someone's intelligence, it would benefit you to use correct spelling and grammar, least ye sound like a ******.

You're just a stupid troll, go away.

This thread needed to die awhile ago. I really want it to die because I'm quite close to being a jerk.

It only takes six words to light the fuse here.

I stand corrected and apologize. In a battle of wits you are not unarmed, but you use only half of what's available. Your knowledge of tongues might be better served if you stopped stepping on your own. I have snipped away most of what you wrote, because, well... it didn't really say anything. Your attempt at constructing a creative flame was pitiful. I mean, really, stringing together a bunch of insults among a load of babbling was hardly effective... Maybe later in life, after you have learned to read, write, spell, and count, you will have more success.

If attending two semesters at Kings College does not make one an Intellectual these days, I know not what does.

Without clarification, two semesters make a freshman. There is a great deal a freshman does not know, often including the depths of his own ignorance.

    You
may say that in Latin. I suppose that indicates King's College has grown weak in Latin, to the extent you failed to learn sus properly.

As for slander, no. It was written, thus libel -- *if* you can show it was intended as an untrue statement of fact and not a statement of opinion. Keep in mind that truth is an absolute defense to such actions and your cup of wit seems to have stopped half way to the rim.

Having given yourself the lie with pigus, what more need be said? Res ipsa loquitur.

Is this what they teach at King's College now? Produce the Elf and Taru Taru that certify your mastery and I will acknowledge it as relevant.
