(I guess I should put a disclaimer that this is supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek reply, you know, as in humorous?)

Why do the Horde seem to think that they are the superior faction in WoW?
It used to be because they won in PvP all the time. Now there are so many Alliance coming to the Horde to be on the winning team that its dragging the faction down.

Why do they think they are so much more mature and literate than the Alliance?
I haven't noticed any Horde claiming to be more mature or literate. I would tend to say they aren't. If I want maturity and literacy, I would join Mensa or Toastmaster's. I want to experience the joy of wanton destruction, so I play Warcraft.

I have played both sides, and both have their fair share of idiocy, immaturity, and ridiculous crap. No, you are not the "mature faction".
Me, too! I don't like dealing with the refuse of humanity you meet everywhere. I was very successful in PvP on the Alliance, but I wanted to win battlegrounds, so I played Horde instead. Still got top kills, but I also got the victory honor.

I have plenty of friends (we are all currently Alliance players) that are in their twenties/thirties, with families, jobs, and a head on their shoulders.
That's why the Alliance loses--they refuse to sacrifice their families and jobs, clinging to social norms of responsibility. That's good for maintaining civilization and social order. Bad for living in a fantasy alternate reality.

And funny, I know a couple of Hordies from my last workplace that were the biggest idiots I've ever met.
Yeah, I know what you mean. But they win in battlegrounds...

Stop acting like you're God's gift to Warcraft. We're all just people at the end of the day.
No, at the end of the day I get to play Warcraft as an undead, orc, troll or tauran. The ones who are just people are on the alliance side. We own them because we are gifted in Warcraft!
