Was just going to ask that too.

I even copied this onto my clipboard:

The dressing room window will remain open and functional while zoning.

Does it mean the naked dressing room bug is fixed??

Um, Vanish now nixes hunter's mark? I'm sure rogues will rejoice, but I wonder if, overall, this is a good thing? It's not like rogues are underpowered atm or anything.

I read somewhere that mixed-server BG's will try to "match" players based on gear, lvl and win/loss records. I don't see any mention of this attempt at "de-twinking" by putting twinks against twinks.

They're working on it, but not with this patch. They never said it'd come with 1.12, but you know how word of mouth works...

I hope they changed the descripition of Hunters mark then, since it say "Places the Hunter's Mark on the target, increasing the Ranged Attack Power of all attackers against that target by 110. In addition, the target of this ability can always be seen by the hunter whether it stealths or turns invisible. The target also appears on the mini-map. Lasts for 2 minutes." kinda defents using it in bg. Well atleast for me.

But all in all this sucks for a pvp hunter:(

Ok I'm clueless here, in the new battle ground how do you speak over it. Do you have to join the channel manualy? I tried to speak on /raid but that did not work.

Could some let me know so I can know for tomorrow night.

Thanks.

Damn right we're pissed! I used that all the time when dealing with freakin rogues!

Every patch they seem to keep nerfing us, we'll be pushed out of existance soon...

LOL, I think I speak for all the hunters out there... "WHEN IS THE HUNTER PATCH COMING OUT?! You know, the one that DOESN'T ***** us over a little more..."

Though this isn't the worst thing they've done, after all we still have track stealth, and flare, I honestly think once they start toning down the hunter's Mark, is when they really start messing with one of the key foci that the hunter class has.

BTW, its PATCH DAY! its like an unwritten holiday, where while the Blizzard downloader takes its sweeta$% time to do what we want it to do, you go to forum and talk about it!

You should like go bake cookies and call up friends and have a freakin party celebrating the greatness of Patch Day while this stupid downloader takes forever.

I think all the additional views you're getting on this page are from people coming here because the Blizzard site gets totally wanged on patch day, and this is one of the only places you can get the patch notes while the behemoth is downloading.

And on the hunter's mark/vanish issue, I don't get what the big deal is. Like someone said earlier, it's not like you can't use it to prevent normal stealth or use your flare talent. Coming from a rogues perspective, I find that there are so many things that break stealth (totems, AOE, auras) that the function is nearly useless. And in BG, that means I'm a giant target running in to melee with a caster or what not and I get my @$$ blown away before I get in two hits. Maybe I'm a sucky rogue or whatever, but it seems that a rogue's major selling point is his stealth, but it's useless in BG.

I speak for all rogues when I say "It's about damn time." Hunters Mark was over powered anyway. Once a rogue was marked they were almost guaranteed to be killed by said hunter. Rogues are only affective when they have that first strike/surprise on there side. So, nerfing the hunters mark just adds a facet for rogues to compete. Plus, Rogues still have to vanish to remove the effect. A simple stealth will not take away the mark, so it hasn't been completely removed.

Plus, all you hunters will be doing slightly more damage if you are using a Ranged weap that has an elemental proc, so it's not like they didn't give you something. (Minor, but better then nothing)

* Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker may now be equipped in either hand.

This is also something Rogues have been dreaming about for a long time.

FFS, quit whining... no rogue is gonna blow a 5 minute cooldown just to remove hunters mark. it would be pointless. all you have to do is flare and remark. Flares area of effect is bigger than the grafic and if you cant judge where the rogue is then you're just a crappy hunter.

Also, to the other hunter complaining... the tooltip is technically correct. vanish is a different mechanism than stealthing or turning invisible (we dont go invisible, thats what pot's do). If we run out of combat and restealth, the mark will still be there.

Quick question.
When Blizzard Downloader tries to get the patch it shows that it is 16.3mb. I couldn't download, so I went to filefrint.com. It shows the patch being 465mb. Please go ahead a make me feel stupid for something that may be obvious that I over looked. ><
Thanks

its possible the one you were trying to get was from 1.0 to 1.12, instead of latest version 1.11 to 1.12
