As far as we can tell Tinkering isn't changing with GU55, but Transmuting is.

Transmuting will become an "everyone" skill acquired at "birth". Category:Transmuter (EQ2 Profession)

Adorning is a new secondary tradeskill profession that will make *all* adornments. Category:Adorner (EQ2 Profession)

Edit: Almost forgot, you will no longer be restricted to one secondary :)

I wonder how this will affect the broker. Anyone being able to transmute could mean that those people who farm lower level dungeons won't sell the adepts/masters/fabled gear on the broker any longer (ok the Fabled gear usually sucks anyway because it's outdated, but should they decide to update it then it will be an issue again).

I rely on those people who farm low level dungeons and sell spells. Yes there is the research assistant but when you have as many *mouths to feed as I do that just doesn't work.

Come to think of it..I'm one of those people who farm too, and now I'll have the tough choice of choosing to transmute or sell the stuff.

*mouths of course means alts

Nothing really changed with Tinkerers, aside from the removal of loam in T9. However, I did add in the four rare blueprints I got my paws on:

Wormhole Generator: Odus
Wormhole Generator: Moors of Ykesha
Tinkered Personal Harvest Depot
Hotwired Gnomish Hoverpad
