can anyone tell me some hard and fast rules for this?

and have the points assigned correspond to Status total?

Thanks.

I want to be a good and fair guild leader but can't find info on this.

First Rule: There are no rules.

Second Rule: Read the first.

Ok now to be serious...the 'points' are for whatever your guild leader (this being you) wants them to be for. Do you want them to be acquired on raids to bid for loot? Do you want them to reflect how much status/plat a specific person has donated to your guild? (The latter is how our guild uses the point system)

Its all really up to you.

Thanks for the imput. is there coorlation between levels and the number of points to distribute or a way to know how many points are in the total pool to distribute.

You decide that as well. Try some equations, or ask others what they would think is fair.

Example:
1 point per 1000 status donated

5 points per 1p donated...

etc.

Note that we (my guild) does not include status earned for the guild (writs, hq's, etc). This is only for status that an individual donates to the guild (at the door under Access). These numbers are not exact to how we do it, but it will give you an overall general idea of how to assign points if you were doing something similar to us.
