I'm looking for haze hunter wolves in Nekulos. Should be pretty simple, but there aren't any more wolves there. I keep going up and down the length of the lower section on both sides, and the wolves have been removed from the game. This has gone on for days, so it's not an issue of spawning. Players may have experienced other critters disappearing from the game. Why does this happen?
Seems to me they are called Haze Stalkers, but I've been wrong before. It's been a while since I've been thro Nek, but there is a level 20ish quest that makes ppl kill those things, (Which sounds like maybe your on the same quest) Could it be somebody ahead of you killed them all, and you just need to wait for them to respawn? I dunno just an idea. About 2 weeks ago, I did that quest with an alt, I was leveling up, and had no trouble at all finding the wolves I needed. <shrugs>

I know haze kodiaks can be found near the Darklight Woods entrance in Nek Forest. I just can't seem to recall if the wolves are there too or if they are near the Commonlands zoneline. (not directly there, but on the way to the spires)
Weren't those lost with the Nek revamp a couple years ago? I'm thinking there's another wolf that worked, what's the name of the quest?

I recently just did a quest involving these for my lowbie class armor, I ran between the CL zone and the docks to find them. Any wolf that has "Haze" in its name should work. I do think Blackmantis is correct though, I'm pretty sure they are simply called "Haze Stalkers".
They are definitely not an abundance of them in any given area, but if you stick closer to the forest area around the 'hidden beach path' those should give you updates.

Haze Stalkers are what you are looking for.. the biggest concentration of them is around the foot of N'mar's bridge where people harvest frequently.
Thanks guys. You're right about the name. I used to run into these the whole path up to N'Mar but I only found one in the last two days. This is day three and I'm off to hunt again.
