Good morning ZAM - 6/1/2009Follow

Busy weekend farming the new GU 52 content on Test. Lots of screenies and quest information to sort through today and get posted. I did spend some time on Antonia Bayle this weekend. I'm constantly creating new characters there to attend events, participate in Talk Show in game chats during the OGR radio shows etc. So, figured I'd just create a permanent resident there. :)

Got an early start on preparations for Fan Faire. I'm OCD like that. Got all my cables in order for the laptop, blackberry and camera. Dug up the voice recorder. Printed out my flight itinerary. Researched the rates on the nearby golf courses so me and Mr. Calthine can book a tee time over the next week or so.

Which btw.. if anybody is attending Fan Faire and would like to join us; drop me a PM or email at spyderbite@allakhazam.com. I'd prefer a foursome cause I hate being paired up with people I have no common interests with. I always get paired up with the non-drinker or non-smoker who shoots me dirty looks every time I pop a beer open or light a smoke. :P

Anyways.. there are golf club rentals available in Vegas and they'll even deliver the clubs to the course your playing and you can leave them there after your round.. in case you don't own your own clubs or don't want to pay the fee to bring them along.

Not much else went on this weekend. How was everyone's weekend?

I've spent my time wrapping up grey quests again, I've almost finished all the book collection quests I still had (spending tons on some pages mostly because they just do not drop, unfortunately there's one that does not drop and can't be sold) and am now in the Living Tombs doing the quests I find there. It's slow AA xp but even the grey quests add up.

I realized that my collection of characters was incomplete...so for my final character slot I rolled a gnome (class didnt mean as much as race). He started out as a Defiler...thinking it would be fun, but alas they solo about as slow as a Templar, and having a 60 Temp already there is no point in going through that agony again...

So he got scrapped, and rerolled as a Gnome Fury. Much more damage and its just so fun to watch those little legs trot along at fast speeds. Took him through the TD timeline for 2 specific items... a Deadly Bottle of Whiskey & Varlos' Shipwheel. I think I'll play him off as an angry drunken gnome. This way when people complain that they died I can just shrug and say something in a surly demeanor.

Played off and on this weekend, I got my first piece of T2 shard armor.
