Zam hosting something like this ? Admin ??Follow

#1 May 24 2009 at 12:35 AM Rating: Decent
First thank you for a very nice site, the work you have put into updating this is really awesome.
I've been browsing and using it a lot both before and after changes, and I must say it has never been better :)

Now my question, there is no where we have an Achievemt calculator, something like they have in WoW.

Is there any plans you will host this in the future ?

Thanks in advance

There are currently no plans for such a tool that I'm aware of. That's not to say that isn't something we won't consider in future once we have all the wrinkles in the new site ironed out. :)

It's something that's come up from time to time, but other things have taken priority (like updating the whole website!).

This is nothing like what I am asking for though..
On this site you do not have the chance to put in/withdraw points as you want..
And also it has not been updated for a loong time and does not have the TSO lines in it either..

What I am looking for is a place where I can spend some time to make the "perfect" AA build, but without having to spend tons of plats ingame to see what the bonuses are for each point.

But I had my answer already from the admins, thank you for that, I will for sure look out for it in the future :)

I think the one think you are forgetting is that there is no 'perfect' build for any class. Yes, there may be a few preferred builds by some, for instance necro's getting tainted heals, coercers getting coercive healing, etc. Mainly though no build is really a Wrong build. Every person has different playstyles so each person is going to spend their AA's differently.

An AP calculator would rock, especially since there's no "ideal" build. :) Keeping it up to date would defiantly be one of the challenges. The first thing I've requested from the People Who Are Much Smarter Than I is the AP information itself, which I think everyone can acknowledge is a daunting amount of data with 24 classes and multiple ranks of every AP choice.

Now, before everyone gets all excited, I'm not promising anything here. I've no idea what our programmers are working on right now, they usually have multiple projects under way. Our devs are quite aware (and probably will tell me to STFU already if I mention it again, lol) that all of the above is highly desirable. I've seen them develop some pretty awesome stuff, so I, like you, wait with high anticipation to see what coolness they bring us next.

Patience is tough, sometimes, but here at ZAM seems to always pay off :)

Maybe not for any CLASS but there is one for every PLAYER, which just again makes it so much more wanted..

As calthrine say, we just have to wait and see what the programmers can come up with :)
So not to tap my foot at anyone, but we are defo waiting for it :)

And then hope that it is really worth the wait :p
