Black letters on black background...Follow

#1 May 12 2009 at 3:40 PM Rating: Decent
Anyone else having a problem with seing the posts lately?

About 1/2 of the posts are showing up as black letters on black background. I can view them by highlighting the posts. This is getting annoying! Smiley: yikes

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I was looking for a way to change the settings but could not find them...

Thanks in advance!

No, but I will. :) Seems to be on different computers too, which I thought was weird.

Thanks

For these boards, the only thing I see is white letters on a dark blue background. And I access the site from 4 different computers (2 at work and 2 at home). I think you have either a graphics card or an options issue.

Yes I see this problem often. I believe it is related to Internet Explorer. I use IE6 on my work laptop, but also have Google Chrome installed. In google Chrome, I have no problems ever, but in IE6, about half the time the text matches the background.

Try upgrading your browser's version or maybe trying a new browser.

Well there you go. I can't imagine why anyone in this day and age would choose to use IE anything! It's full of holes and has more security issues than I would have believed possible!

I use FireFox, Chrome and even an old browser named Avant but I wouldn't be caught dead opening IE...

LOL, yea, using IE at the work computer, only because I haven't downloaded firefox yet.

Shift-refresh seems to have worked, though.

Thanks all! :)
