Fighter Revamp - SCRAPPEDFollow

well, damn. I was really looking forward to this. oh, well. will give me a chance to copy over my characters again, and they will be higher adventure and tradeskill, so there's a bonus...I guess.

yeah. I read. but now its being delayed even more. I'm sorry, but it is my opinion that if a tank (a non-DPS class, a meat shield, a walking, talking target of MOB hatred, etc.) has to dish out massive amounts of DPS to hold aggro because the taunts aren't working, that should have been a massive clue to SOE a long time ago. and the fact that they JUST now got around to figuring out how to adjust the aggro system to bring the tank's role back in-line, and now that project is being delayed yet again........

well, enough rambling. not getting anything done. guess it's back to the drawing board and Take 2. hopefully no more takes after this though.

I wonder if that awful hate meter and the idea of parseable hate numbers is toast with this as well. *fingers crossed*

Yes, Kiara and Rothgar have posted that they're stripping the Fighter update out of the GU so the new content we've been waiting for can go live. No one will give an ETA, but players are guessing a couple weeks.
