I've been away for about a year, but Middle Earth just doesn't feel like home.

Can you give me a really good reason not to leave LOTRO and rejoin EQ2? Failing that, can you give me a quick summary of changes from last expansion onwards?

I have Kunark and was finding the high 60's solo grind a bit tough. Is there more solo stuff to do that will help me get at least one toon to level cap (for once!)?. I like being in group, but find I like soloing more.

I'm in kinda the same boat. I play both EQ2 and LOTRO and when the last expansions came out I bought both but mostly played LOTRO.

And now it seems like every time I log into EQ2, I can't find much of anything to do that really catches my interest. - I've explored the new zones and fooled around some with the new crafting quests but nothing is really grabbing onto me and holding me in the game.

LOTRO on the other hand, just keeps getting better! Moria was a blast and book seven goes live tomorrow so we'll finally get to see Lothlorian... I'm excited!

High 60's sucked, and still do. Best thing you can do is find a buddy and get help on the Kunark quests as soon as possible, probably 67-ish or so. Quests are the key, grinding gets you nowhere.

Hit 72 or so and lots of content opens up in Kunark and TSO.

It turns out that I've only been away about 6 months (seems longer), my highest character is actually 73 (so high 60's grind about over) and I seem to have accidentally just this second bought the Shadow Odyssey expansion... OOPS!

Once you hit 70, Kunark solo quests is the way to go. It's faster than grinding either group or solo..some decent rewards are there and you'll get a ton of AA on top of the adventure exp. Both toons I've had hit the cap have gone 70-80 largely on Kunark solo questing alone.

Woot. It arrived yesterday, installed & updated in under 2 hours.

I got a great 'welcome back' from my guild and spent most of the night getting lost in the HUGE guild hall.

Home.

This is basically what I've been doing with a higher level people from my guild. Going to Kylong Plains and working on faction. I've gained two aa's so far and almost level 69. Plus, the money is great from doing all those quests.
