guild hall in opposing areaFollow

Of course my guild hall was built in Qeynos, when 5 of my characters are Freeport. I talked with the head of the guild yesterday and she said that her evil toon just went right through the SQ gate without opposition. She said the guards waved. I should go through the SQ gate. Can you say instantly dead? Didn't the game folks figure out a way for opposing faction guild members to get the "call of the guild" spell? On a related matter, the guild head has a Mistrunner, a mount only available in SQ. She said she sees evil toons with one. I guess I could sneak into the sewers from Vermin's Snye if I could remember where the entrance was in Antonica. The new map is useless to me. Can you tell I'm having a bad day of it? I hope someone can enlighten me as to how to get to my guild hall. Thanks.

Yes, the game actually did figure out a way.

Go to your local city faction merchant (the people who sell you the items for status), I dont recall where the freeport ones are, anyway buy a [Magic Door to the guild hall] for 36g and 6000 status i beleive, ports you right to it from your own home.

To further this, guild halls can buy a portal that sends a player toon Back to thier private home, even if they dont have a door.

I wonder after reading the description, if the upkeep isn't payed what happens then? Dropped at the entrance of the guild hall?

That would be pretty unfortunate for players trying to access a GH in an unfriendly area. Adds a bit of a thrill too I suppose, having to wonder if someone payed the upkeep everytime you try to zone in the GH.

Actually you are zoned to either CL or Antonica docks, depending on which type of guild hall you bought

Tried that. Although the "intention" might have been for 6000 SP (a reasonable number), in fact it takes 100,000 status to buy the door. So somebody is going through the Peat Bog again.

100k status is very easy to get. if this is your main, just start holding on to all those relics and sell them to the appropriate people and you can have it in no time.

there is also the sewer entrance to SQ. time your movements right (and you can watch the pathers so you CAN time it right) and you have nothing to worry about.

Strange that you have difficulty with this. I have a Kerran Monk as my main and belong to an evil-aligned guild. I however haven't had any problems going to/from the guild hall as I just use the bells on the docks to get around and there's no one right there on the docks that will cause you any problems (there aren't any guards standing there waiting to thump poor guildies over the head with a tree trunk cause you're in the wrong zone). Have you tried and gotten killed or have you just been too worried about it to try?

Sneaking over once is doable.

You might even be able to use a guildy's magic door (not sure, I havent tried)...if so, once you are in the guild hall you can claim your "call to guild hall" spell for easy future returns.

That's what they emphasized at Fan Faire - you only have to get there ONCE. Then use your call of Guild to get back.

Go to the freeport docks: Click on the Nek forrest bell > TS bell > Qeynos bell > GH bell.

easy and you don't go near a guard.

That would work if his guild had the T3 guild hall in Antonica. but reading his post, it looks like his guild has the T2 guild hall in South Qeynos. clicking on the bell in Antonica will do nothing to help him get to his guild hall.

anyway, to answer the OP, you can sneak in through the sewers (not that difficult), buy a "Magic Door to the Guild Hall" (or whatever it is called), or use someone else's magic door. but the first time you make the trek, your guild should have the Guild Teleportation Beacon (they purposefully reduced the cost so that all guilds could at least get that). click that and you will get your Recall to Guild Hall spell so you just have to call back like you were returning home (only a much faster cool down timer - 15 minutes for Guild hall recall as opposed to the 60 minute city recall timer).

So there are your options. hope that helps.
