Good Morning, AllaK - 09/16/08Follow

Good morning, happy campers!

Been awhile. How's everyone been? Work has been insane lately so I haven't been spending much time creeping about the boards.

Coercer Level Fest 2008 is OVER! My coercer is finally all caught up with my Sk, level-wise. 80 came on the turn-in of one of the silly dorf repeatable quests in Jarsath Wastes. Good times.

Took a pal who had never been on a romp through Halls of Fate. I just have to say, the cliché 'impatient scout' crap has to stop. Every other damn scout I play with complains about the speed, wants us to pull more at a time, will run off and pull on his own or tailgate the puller..so irritating. Our healer finally had enough of the guy and dropped group. Kicked the scout and finished the zone two down with no healer. If you fit the profile of the scout I just described, please do us all a favor and throw yourself down a flight of stairs. Your like a damn toddler with a rare form of advanced, spastic attention disorder.

Started the coercer epic. Quest has some fun conversations. Mostly with yourself.

Drove down to D.C. on Sunday for the Redskins game. Awesome time. Nothing on Earth like being there live for a down-two-scores 4th quarter last minute comeback. Absolutely insane.

How was your evening?

I spent the night at work. Got home at about midnight. Drank beer and took a sleeping pill so I could get to sleep before 5 am. *yawns*

umm, been sick, played EQ2, worked while sick, played more EQ2. all just a blur. having problems remember the days right now. but otherwise things are going good. Iksar Bruiser is 32 (still need to pull his T4 rare armor out of the bank). fae warlock dinged 26 today. found a master in my shared bank for one of his level 25 spells, along with an adept I for one of his spells. otherwise, not much going on. my guild is growing slowly, but the members are of a great quality, who like to help each other out, and help the new players to the game (of which we just recently got one who JUST came over from WoW and is still having to acclimate himself to the expanse of Norrath, but he's enjoying it immensely). so, overall, I'm just having a fun old time with the game, as usual.

The second level of the "dorf" quests in Jarsath Wastes are very, very difficult for me to solo. Therefore I have been trying to complete every small, green quest I can find. Still need 40% to ding level 80. My EQ2 Time has been in short supply as of late due to real life commitments. Maybe this weekend.

The Mr and I decided to prep for the expansion by getting a bunch of collections quests done to turn in on the day of, and by doing a bunch of heritage quests but not quite finishing them until the expansion airs. So far I have 84 collections ready for turn in, and I've been enjoying taking the time to immerse myself in all the heritage quests.

As for daily stuff, Friday is Internationl talk Like a Pirate day, so I am continuing the tradition of having a Pirate party here for the kids. They boys and I are heading out to go pirate shopping in a few. Arrrrrgh!

I've got a few gray HQ's to take care of too. But killing 100 nightbloods gets boring. Smiley: frown

I have that one in my journal now too!! So dont feel like youre alone.

Late summary of my absence:

Wednesday 10th to the 14th - Left my comfortable home to go stay at my friends for the night, then the next day we left for her parents lake area, 15 acres of camping right next to a lake on private land. Great time in front of a bonfire, roasting marshmellows and sausage, watching 2 people roll D&D characters, and laughing at the guy who fell in the lake, twice. Oh and shooting deer, with my camera because it doesnt have a kickback.

15th- Got home, and went out on a date. An actual date too! I dont think I've ever had one before, it's usually just "buy you a burger, you give me head" then you go home and wonder what it would be like to have someone actually value your company. (It helps that I've known him for a few years, we just never were single at the same times, or new that he even found me attractive).

16th - Finally posted about it.
