Racial Info link, Starting statsFollow

Maybe I am missing it but I am interested in seeing what race starts with what (like wisdom,str,int, and so on)

I have a racial traditions link but I'm sure you guys know of a link to starting stats somewhere. I want to see how races stack up.

Also I am curious if I need those language books I've been seeing in towns lately. Like learning Gnomish or some other things I've stumbled on or are they really just to make the game cooler rather then DO something.

You'll need some of those languages in order to get quests from NPCs who don't speak common. Since I've always made it a point to acquire every language I could find, I really have no idea how many quests you'll miss out on without them once you get to the higher levels but early on it really makes a difference.

A far as starting racial traits, any advantage obtained is pretty much eclipsed by chosen & "purchasable" stats gained as you level up. Stats from food, drink, weapons, armor, jewelry and other things will far outweigh what you started with.

Part of the class balance designed into the game is that nothing you start with is ever really a game maker or game breaker.
