Access To Castle QeynosFollow

#1 Sep 12 2008 at 11:36 AM Rating: Decent
Wondering if there are plans to enter the castle anytime soon and get quests from NPCs inside. I think it would be a good thing seeing as how we build up our faction with the Qeynos people AND the Qeynos Guard. Your opinion please.

doubt it for the near future. Qeynos castle has been there since Launch and it's never been accessable. If you could get in you could essentially visit Antonia Bayle. As for building up faction, there are plenty of NPCs out there to get faction writs for and max your faction with them

Never? I seem to recall the original betrayal from Qeynos quest used to end with a visit with Lucan in his citadel..I wasn't familiar with the Freeport betrayal version though...if you got to be like...welcomed by Antonia or anything. if not, Qeynos folk got totally shafted. :D

Sucks that it went away with the betrayal revamp.

actually, with the original betrayal from Qeynos, it ended (just before you became an exile) with you appearing before Antonia Bayle(and being banished from Qeynos). if you betrayed Freeport, it ended (again, just before you became an exile) with you appearing before Lucan D'Lere (and being promptly "executed")

then the fun really began, but we won't go into all that.

hey, it was only 500. but as a level 17-19, that 500 felt like 5 bajillion =) and lets not get started on the named mobs that you could never find a group for when that named was up for only 5 minutes at a time, once a day. lol fun times.

I bought a title with status points on the theory that it would get me access to the castle. Boy was I mistaken!
