I have 4 items that are gobbling up space that say I can trade to certain NPC's for Status. I am running down the demo before I purchase the game and I have no clue what status is or where these people might be. I am a evil character at the moment so can someone point me to where I would drop these items off?

You will need to be in the full game before you have access to a place to turn them in...being Evil (or any alignment) there is generally one near the guild city register. Some cities have different merchants that take them depending on what level the status item is.

Please tell us what 'evil' city you are next to.

I am in Freeport. So I need the full game (which I am getting in 2 days I think) to get them turned in correct?

That will give you all the information you need. As you can see there are 4 merchants each in one of the 4 Freeport zones. Now I have no clue who will take what level of items, but once you can move about to each part of the city I'm sure you will figure it out.

One thing you may want to keep in mind, is Freeport going to remain your home? No I'm not talking about betrayal, but if you were so inclined you could make Neriak or Gorowyn your main city to run around in (with the benefit of BOTH cities being one zone and not seperated by doors aka zone lines). Each of those cities only has One city merchant to turn items like those in to for the status. Makes things a lot simpler imho.

Oh, Welcome to the World of Norrath.

Those links with the close-paren on the end doesn't never work, try :Category:City Merchant (EQ2 Mob Type)

However, I think those are the wrong NPC's for what you want. Those NPC's will sell you stuff for your status. Are your items like this?

If so, you need to sell them to the organization indicated: scouts, fighters, mages, or priests. Unfortunately, I play goodie-goodies, and I have no clue where to send you in Freeport....

I don't like freeport actually it seems like a huge pain in the butt to get around. I will look into your suggestions of one of those other cities. My question for now is how do I get there? I'm level 15 Rat Assassin guy at the moment and I seem to be running around killing stuff and questing mostly. I haven't really figured out a ton.

As a ratonga, you're not really welcome in the good alignment cities like Qeynos. And at your level, if you go there, the guards will kick you out before you can get anything done.

Besides Freeport, I think the only places that will accept you are Neriak and Gorowyn. If you can make your way to the Freeport docks area, you can take a bell to Gorowyn. However, I have no idea how you can get to Neriak from FP.

Any idea how I would get to Gorowyn from Freeport area?

Trying to get my ratonga to 20 hopefully I haven't messed up my assassin any.

Another question is how many characters are allowed once I purchase it?

7 with a basic $15 subscription. 12 with a Station Pass which is $30/month and covers your subscriptions to all SOE games you've purchased.

Great 7 should be loads! I don't have time to purchase and try everything (God I'm old). I was hoping it was around 8. With the level caps so high it should be a long time with my 2-3 guys

Thanks again for helping the new guy
