First off I am a new player and don't get to play all that much due to work. But I rolled a DE assassin and chose Shadow Slip for one of my racial traditions. My question is how can it be more useful? I play on a pvp server and the best uses I have found for it is when I am in group pvping. It takes a player a sec or two to find me again, ie enough for me to get a few extra hits in. As for pve I found it usless ... So I was wondering how everyone else used it or made it more useful. I appreciate the help thanks.

On my Assassin I primarily used it in PvE and PvP in order to pull off a CA which required me to be stealthed. Very effective later on when your "surprise" CA's become more powerful. My assassin has since exiled to a Ranger and I still find it very helpful when pulling off the same strategy with my ranged abilities that require me to be stealthed during a fight.
