Good Morning, AllaK's - 9/2/08 Long Weekend EditionFollow

Good morning, happy campers!

Well I'm back from a 5 day weekend back home in good 'ol Virginia. Hung out. Went to the Redskins last preseason game. Saw family, friends. Came back Sunday. Spent yesterday at the local pool (last day it's open) and grillin' burgers. Good times all around. Thanks to Dyadem for holding it down while I was away.

Coercer Level-Fest 2008 continues! Dinged 79. Had a master and 2 A3's of this level in my bags waiting so that's always fun. Cranked out a few more AA..got myself a good start down the coercer mana regen line. Scored a new robe and pants in Maiden's, but can't wear the pants until 80. Finished off the Danak Shipyard quest-line to score the OT Hammer. Ended off the weekend about 36% through 79, with 4 tynn clusters in my bags waiting for me to ding. ;)

Oh and today is my youngest son's 5th birthday, so everyone say Happy Birthday to Jack!

How was your holiday weekend?

My mom and her husband were in town, which was nice.

In game I did a little crafting, but mostly I worked on this: :Category:Guild Halls World Event Quest Series

I didn't get much done, I spent most of the weekend moving. I will make up for it next weekend though!

Happy Birthday Jack and gratz on 79!

I enjoyed a very relaxing weekend of doing nothing which was fantastic! While the youngest slept and the eldest and husband went to see the 3d version of Journey to the center of the Earth, I sat down to finally watch Farenheight 9/11.

I argued politics with people on another forum, and otherwise chilled. Gaming has been slow. Yesterday I popped on for a bit to help the Mrs alt with his epic in KC and then went afk for awhile. I played around creating a photo with my char and thought it turned out pretty cool. And thats about it. Pretty lazy

Welcome back Stu, and Happy Birthday dear Jack! It sounds like your vacation was packed full of excitement. Glad to hear you had a great time and enjoyed it. Then you found time to still ding and get some goodies done in game, wow you are a monster! hehe.

You're Welcome, but for the sanity of the other Allak's posters don't let it happen again!!! Lol.

Last night was pretty laid back for me, I went shopping with my music teacher friend, and then my aunt was over most of the night so I didn't log in until later in the evening (she found the conversations I have with my fellow guildies on voice to be rather interesting). Later I decided to get off my *** and try a new zone, so I went to Tenebrous Tangle after having my friend make my AD3's for level 55 (New tank pet was a must). I think I found my new dream zone! I wasn't even paying attention while I was up there and suddenly I became 56.

Smiley: dubious I watched that on Christmas at my friends place with her family...I'm glad we were all on the same political side because I would have hated for that to cause any family turmoil on that day.

Smiley: lol I hesitate to ask which side of the fence you're on. I can see that movie as being very polarizing if you came from different sides of the fence.

Well, there are some who view Michael Moore's *work* as deep and insightful...

And then there are those who see his films as flights of delusion and pure fantasy...

I heard that Moore wants to be just like Oliver Stone when he grows up... A lofty goal since Stone's work stretches reality even further than does Moore's...

whatever! :0

honestly, I can't remember what all I did over the weekend. work has been frying my brain, and my allergies hampering my sleep aren't helping the matter any. I know we got a couple more members in my guild. I think this week, I am gonna try to make the push to 15 so we can get our guild heraldry. rerolled my warlock (just can't stand the art clipping with the erudite structure. just looks tacky to me) as a fae. other than that, don't think I did too much.

quick question for Dyadem, what anime is your avatar showing? it looks familiar, but I can't seem to recognize it (my heads still foggy from a very poor state of sleep today).

And there are also some who realize that his work does play on exxageration, but knows there must be a bit of truth mixed in. Smiley: cool

Well over the weekend, a friend talked my into playing the game finally. Coming from FF it's a much different environment, but I think I like it.
