What are the long term effects of turning off auto consume for food and drink? People have posted to turn it off when selling or harvesting. But long term does it not effect health or stats? Why turn it off if it has an effect, or is the effect minor? Suggestions, tips, or hints would be appreciated. Thanks.

Drink affects your power regen; food affects your heath regen. Many provisions also give stat boosts.

But if you're asking if you'll "get sick" like you did in EQ1 when you didn't eat or drink, nope, the only negative effect (besides slow regen) is an annoying "You are hungry" message.
