I was going to try out a wizard and was curious if I were to cast summon shadows and someone has me targeted would they lose me as a target? (i.e. in pvp or in duels)

I cannot answer as to PvP/Dueling, but mobs do NOT lose you if you invis after they hate you. That said, if you invis before a duel starts your opponent loses his target.
