Eveytime I log in I get a window that says I should patch my ui as I will not be able to see my detrimental effects window. I use eq2 default window. How do I fix this or where can I find this patch?

The default window should take care of itself. Have you ever used any other UI?
I would advise you to to a full file scan of EQ2. On the launchpad window, after you log in, choose Preferences and click Full File Scan. This will check all your files for errors.
If that doesn't work maybe the UI guys can tell you if there's a particular file you need to delete and let repatch.

I downloaded milequest info center. I updated it but everything else is default. I did the file scan no dice there I will Post on eq interface and see what they can come up with. Everything else works great thanks for the info.
